Music

  • The Lord Is My Shepard - Written in honor of Jeri who taught each of us what it means to live without fear.  And yea thought I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil. We've memorized this Psalm, sung it, embroidered it, made plaques, crafted bookmarks, and fashioned jewelry as symbols of lives without fear; yet, Jeri showed us what those words look like as they are breathed in and breathed out even as we walk through the valley of death.  Composed by Neal and Jan Bryan, between February 22, 2015 through February 20, 2016.
  • Lord's Prayer - Beautifully haunting a capella melody shares the depth of a true bond with the Father. Composed by Neal Bryan, 2014.
  • Jehovah Rapha  - The Lord who heals, this Hebrew name of God is the inspiration of this prayerful sing/response chant. Originally inspired to comfort, the lyrics explore many of the known Hebrew names of God and serves as a prayer in song. Composed by Jan Bryan through the inspiration of a loved one in 2014.
  • Baby Born  - This holiday carol, written for children, has become a favorite among our physical and spiritual families. Simple couplets are followed by "For the baby born, He is the Lord!" Many families enjoy adding to the song with their own new verses--in the form of a new couplet. In the true spirit of Alexander Paige, each verse extols us to "fear not."  Composed because the Lord brought it to me for Christmas 2013.
  • Lord, Our Lord   - A closer reading of Psalms 8 lead to this composition . . . . "through the praise of children, all will know your name." This musical adaptation of that most beautiful of psalms, was composed with children in mind. Composed by Jan Bryan in 2013.
  • Well Watered Garden - a prayer of comfort. The one universal human emotion; every person on the planet endures and understands is the grief associated with the loss of a loved one. Composed in honor of the tragic death of two of God's finest, this music draws from Jeremiah 31:12 which states that they shall be like a well-watered garden where they sorrow no more. Composed as we grieved for the Lord's children in 2012.
